    博物館標本を活用した学びスタイルを考える ―「出張！名大博物館」という地域連携活動をもとに―

    Nagoya University Museum has been holding a series of event programs, Nagoya University Museumʼs Outreach Program, at the Nagoya City Science Museum and local shopping malls, bringing out and introducing the museum specimens to be useful for the people in the community. Student staff choose their own favorite museum specimens, called “oshi-hyohon,” and they prepare their original exhibition panels. Based on dialogue through their ingenious presentation and hands-on exhibition, it is opened to everyone, including those who are not interested in museums. The aim is to invite people to a world of unknown interests even they have not noticed and to provide an opportunity for nurturing the intellectual curiosity. This series of event programs were held five times between 2019 and 2022. Every time after the event, the issues that come along with the preparation and the operation are shared between the staff members in order to expand new initiatives in the future. Here we introduce our regional collaborative activities regarding museum education, emphasizing the importance of dialogue with communities, and also discuss the learning styles using museum specimens.

    名古屋大学博物館では，名古屋市科学館や地域のショッピングモールを会場として，名古屋大学博物館の収蔵資料を持ち出し紹介するイベント「出張！名大博物館」を開催している．本イベント企画では，博物館標本を地域社会の学びに活用してもらうことを目指し，学生スタッフそれぞれが選ぶ，名古屋大学博物館の収蔵品（標本資料）を「推し標本」として，その展示紹介パネルを学生自ら考案し自作する．学生スタッフらの工夫を凝らした見せ方，およびハンズオン展示を活用した対話がベースとなって，“博物館に関心がある”人々はもとより，“博物館に関心がない”人々にも，自身も気付いていないような未知の興味の世界へ招待し，知的好奇心を育むきっかけを提供することをねらいとしている． 「出張！名大博物館」は，2019年～2022年までの期間に5回にわたり開催された．開催後は毎度，準備から当日運営の際の課題点を挙げ共有し，また，新メンバーに受け継がれて，次回の開催へとつなげ成長を続けている．ここに，「出張！名大博物館」の一連の地域連携活動を，市民対話をベースとする博物館教育活動の一事例として紹介し，博物館標本を介した学びスタイルについて考察する．

    名古屋大学博物館来館者調査WEBアプリケーションの開発
    Development of a web application for the visitor survey of Nagoya University Museum

    The MusaForum, a group of Nagoya University Museum Student Staff Organization, claimed that the opinions of visitors to the Nagoya University Museum should be gathered in order to reflect them in the exhibitions and event planning. Since then, a team was voluntarily formed within the MusaForum to take charge of this project. In March 2022, a visitor survey of the Nagoya University Museum started, and currently the data collected have been used to plan new projects based on the trend analysis of visitors. Furthermore, along with the visitor survey, the development of a web application was progressed (released in April 2023) so as to provide “fun” contents expecting to be one of the reasons of visitors’ revisiting the museum. This web application will allow you to challenge the quiz about the Nagoya University Museum collections by answering the questionnaire survey on the Google Form every time you visit. If you answer the quiz correctly, you will be able to collect the character illustrations of MusaForum members’ “preferred specimens” and to read the explanation of them. Here, we report the workflow of this web application.

    名古屋大学博物館学生運営スタッフ団体MusaForum*（ムーサ・フォルム）のメンバーより，「名古屋大学博物館の来館者の声を集め，展示・イベント企画等に反映させていきたい」との声があがり，自発的にMusaForum内に当事業を担当するチームが結成された．2022年3月，名古屋大学博物館の来館者調査を開始し，現在，来館者の傾向分析のもと新企画の立案に役立てている． さらに，来館者調査に付随して，博物館に再来する楽しみの一つとなるようなコンテンツを用意するため，WEBアプリケーション（以降，「WEBアプリ」と称する）の開発が進められてきた（2023年4月公開）．当WEBアプリは，来館の度にGoogleフォーム上でのアンケート調査に回答すると名古屋大学博物館の展示物に関するクイズに挑戦できるようになる．クイズに正解すると，MusaForumメンバーの“推し標本”キャラクターのイラストが集められ，さらに，その標本の解説が読めるようになる．ここに，当WEBアプリの仕組みについて報告する．

    A participation report of “Hone Hone Summit 2023”

    “Hone Hone Summit 2023” was held in October 21st and 22nd, 2023 at the Osaka Museum of Natural History. We participated in the summit and presented a display at a booth set as a volunteer group of graduate students studying at Nagoya University Museum. We report the contents of the exhibition and the details of the event.

    2023年10月に「ホネホネサミット2023」が2日間にわたり大阪市立自然史博物館にて開催された．名古屋大学博物館に関わる大学院生有志でブースを出展したため，その展示内容とイベントの詳細について報告する．

    Based on the visitor surveys conducted at the Nagoya University Museum and the feedback from the Nagoya University Museum’s Outreach Program event during the survey period from October 2021 to March 2023, there was a notable interest among elementary and junior high school students with science and arithmetic/mathematics ranking high.

    名古屋大学博物館の来館者調査，およびイベント企画「出張！名大博物館」の来場者アンケート調査結果（調査期間：2021 年10 月～2023 年3 月）によれば，小中学生の「興味のある教科」として理科や算数／数学が上位を占めた一方，国語は下位定着だったことが分かった．この結果を踏まえ，名古屋大学博物館と名古屋大学博物館学生運営スタッフ団体MusaForum*は，科学教育および国語力向上を意識した博物館教育プログラムを考案し，新企画「目指せ！観察名人」を実施した．本企画では，全5 回のテーマ（植物，化石，鳥，土器，クジラ）それぞれに観察対象となる標本と科学体験を提供し，グループワークを通じて，対話・表現・議論を促進した．科学への興味関心のきっかけ作りと，科学的思考力の向上を重点的に捉え，参加者に科学に対する理解を深めるための表現力を育むことを目指した．
