学生募集
当研究室は、人類の進化や農業の起源のほか、国内外の歴史や古代社会について様々なモノ資料から調べることに興味のある学生を広く募集しています。文系・理系のバックグラウンドは問いません。考古学の講義や演習の経験がなくても、代わりに学んできた専門を活かした研究も可能です（例えば、古代DNA分析）。
西アジアの遺跡調査からこれまでに採取された収蔵標本を使っての研究も可能ですし、現在私たちが行っているコーカサス地方での遺跡調査に参加して、新たな研究標本を自分自身の手で採取することも勧めます。

学生の方々は文系・理系の両方を含み、主に西アジア旧石器時代の人類進化や新石器時代の農耕発達に関する幅広い研究が行われています。学生の皆さんは、アゼルバイジャンの古代農村の調査や、現在主に進めているヨルダンの旧石器時代遺跡の調査に参加されています。
