Oregon (The Izee Terrane)

In the Western United States, many Mesozoic terranes are found particularly in western part of the North American Cordilleras, of which the Izee Terrane in Oregon has been studied from the biostratigraphical viewpoint by Pessagno and others. Radiolarian fossils obtained from the Snowshoe formation and the Hyde formation have been reported by Nagai (1990) and Nagai and Mizutani (1990) for the comparative study.
